Meet the Team
The Nephron team is composed of seven individuals committed to producing fundamental research, data-based analyses, unique events and bespoke project work of the highest order.
Josh Raskin has two decades of experience originating healthcare services equity research and is a CFA Charterholder. Widely cited as a top resource in the space, he has been ranked in the top 3 in Institutional Investor All American Equity Research Survey for past 17 years. Josh considers himself a true New Yorker, having lived in Manhattan his entire life, and now with wife Melissa and two daughters: Hannah and Madison. Lastly, Josh enjoys restaurants, podcasts and secret shopping on the health exchanges.
Eric Percher possesses a unique combination of finance and industry experience including twelve years as an equity analyst and five years as Director of Strategic Finance at McKesson Corporation. After a sojourn to San Francisco, Eric and his family have returned to their ancestral homeland of Brooklyn Heights where he is hard at work developing a version of Chutes and Ladders that traces drugs and dollars through the pharma supply chain .
CCO & Director of Research
Tim Biggins has over twenty years of leadership experience in technology consulting, healthcare equity research and institutional equity sales. In that time, he has led multinational technology projects, co-authored numerous company and industry equity research reports, and driven sales efforts at top equity accounts for several multinational banks. Tim lives in Brooklyn with his wife, two young children , and a surly border terrier named Badger.
Rachana Fellinger brings over a decade of healthcare experience to Nephron Research, with an emphasis on applying novel analytical methods to the space. Her past roles include corporate strategy at Anthem and equity research (with a focus on public policy) at Barclays Capital. Rachana received her Masters from Duke University and a Bachelors from Visvesvaraya Technology University in India. Rachana is a curious reader, traveler (can name all 196 countries in less than 10mins), and a foodie who also enjoys Friday 5 PM CMS data releases.
Over the last four years, Clayton Meyers has shifted from covering the pharmacies from a retail perspective to a healthcare perspective while expanding his expertise to the broader pharma supply chain. As the mastermind behind our detailed PBM models, Clayton has become a valued resource for both clients and industry participants. Born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Clayton devotes his free time to Michigan State athletics, lake activities and memorizing the pharmacopeia.
Mary has covered Managed Care and Healthcare Facilities since starting her career in equity research at Barclays in 2014. She is excited to unlock incremental insights through her creative approach to data analysis and passion for making sense of complex issues. She earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville, VA and has passed all three levels of the CFA exam. Mary views healthcare services as an especially unique sector as it is one of the few that can take someone directly from undergrad and put them straight into a nursing home.
Dolph Warburton has five years of equity research and investment banking experience within the consumer sector. Prior to embarking on his career in finance, Dolph worked as an IT consultant for both government and private sector clients where he developed an expertise in software systems delivery and business process improvement. Dolph holds graduate degrees in both finance and systems engineering and is a CFA charterholder. He grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughter and son, is an enthusiastic Nationals fan, and one day will learn to kiteboard.
