Meet the Team
The Nephron team is committed to producing fundamental research, data-based analyses, unique events and bespoke project work of the highest order.
Josh Raskin has two decades of experience originating healthcare services equity research and is a CFA Charterholder. Widely cited as a top resource in the space, he has been ranked in the top 3 in Institutional Investor All American Equity Research Survey for past 17 years. Josh considers himself a true New Yorker, having lived in Manhattan his entire life, and now with wife Melissa and two daughters: Hannah and Madison. Lastly, Josh enjoys restaurants, podcasts and secret shopping on the health exchanges.
Eric Percher possesses a unique combination of finance and industry experience including twelve years as an equity analyst and five years as Director of Strategic Finance at McKesson Corporation. After a sojourn to San Francisco, Eric and his family have returned to their ancestral homeland of Brooklyn Heights where he is hard at work developing a version of Chutes and Ladders that traces drugs and dollars through the pharma supply chain .
CCO & Director of Research
Tim Biggins has over twenty years of leadership experience in technology consulting, healthcare equity research and institutional equity sales. In that time, he has led multinational technology projects, co-authored numerous company and industry equity research reports, and driven sales efforts at top equity accounts for several multinational banks. Tim lives in Brooklyn with his wife, two young children, and two surly border terriers.
Mary has covered Managed Care and Healthcare Facilities since starting her career in equity research at Barclays in 2014. She is excited to unlock incremental insights through her creative approach to data analysis and passion for making sense of complex issues. She earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville, VA and has passed all three levels of the CFA exam. Mary views healthcare services as an especially unique sector as it is one of the few that can take someone directly from undergrad and put them straight into a nursing home.
Dolph Warburton has five years of equity research and investment banking experience within the consumer sector. Prior to embarking on his career in finance, Dolph worked as an IT consultant for both government and private sector clients where he developed an expertise in software systems delivery and business process improvement. Dolph holds graduate degrees in both finance and systems engineering and is a CFA charterholder. He grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughter and son, is an enthusiastic Nationals fan, and one day will learn to kiteboard.
Shaina began her career in sales but quickly realized she had a passion for operations management. She brings four years of operations management experience to Nephron. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Queens College and will be pursuing a Master’s in the near future. Shaina was born and raised in Queens and enjoys adventurous trips and being a self-proclaimed culinary mastermind.
Marco is a member of Nephron's Managed Care and Healthcare Facilities team. Prior to joining Nephron, Marco worked in management consulting for financial institutions out of Washington, D.C. Marco graduated from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and International Business. He grew up in Darien, CT, is a die-hard Rangers fan, and enjoys “eating out” at his family-owned pizzeria.
Simon is a member of Nephron’s Pharma Supply Chain and Healthcare IT team. He was graduated from Lehigh University with degrees in both Finance and Mechanical Engineering, and brings to Nephron experiences across banking, consulting, and manufacturing. Excited to begin his career at the intersection of healthcare, Wall Street, and data analysis, he has enjoyed growing into a hybrid role at Nephron. Simon is from Bridgewater, NJ, has a passion for basketball, and can be seen under the hood of a car on weekends.
