Amazon? John, I am glad you asked…

As thought leaders on trends in healthcare services, we get some pretty cool invitations to speak. None cooler than the opportunity that Josh Raskin had last week to join Aetna’s Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. – an annual event that brings its top 250 executives together.  This year’s theme was “Redefining the Consumer Experience.”, where our work around retail health were recognized as a great basis for discussion. Josh was asked to participate on a panel with none other than John Doerr, Chairman of Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers. Doerr has funded ventures that have created more than 500,000 jobs. Raskin is part of a venture that has created 7 jobs. The similarities didn’t end there. The discussion ranged across all areas of healthcare with an obvious emphasis on how technology is coming for healthcare. We will have a lot more to say on this topic at the Nephron “Transformative Effects of Retail Health Symposium” on July 12th in NYC. Lastly, we would highly recommend Measure What Matters, Doerr’s new book for anyone in a position to lead. To hear more about the experience, or just have Josh regurgitate every word from Doerr (he has most of it memorized), contact us at info@nephronresearch.com
