Doing Good While Working to Do Well

Nephron Research is a relatively young three years old, but from our founding, we have worked to “do good” while we build a successful business.  This aspiration is manifested in everything we do, from the way we partner with our clients, to the extension of our COVID-related work to the healthcare community in a time of need.

This year we are reaching outside of our investment research and healthcare industry communities with the goal of more directly supporting organizations which address critical needs, focusing on the areas of Social Justice & Education and Health & Hunger.  Giving back is now formalized in our mission and values. With our entire firm getting together to enthusiastically nominate and select targets, we are proud to announce our support for two great organizations:

She’s the First – “She’s the First fights for a world where every girl chooses her own future. We team up with local organizations to make sure girls are educated, respected, and heard.”

City Harvest  – “City Harvest exists to end hunger in communities throughout New York City. We do this through food rescue and distribution, education, and other practical, innovative solutions.”

As a firm, we are thankful for the work that these organizations are doing, energized by their passion, and reminded of how truly privileged and lucky we are.  This has certainly been a difficult year for many, non-profits included, which increases the urgency to help in any way.
