Position Overview:

We are seeking an intellectually curious and academically rigorous Healthcare Equity Research Associate to join our specialized coverage of pharmaceutical supply chain and digital health companies. As an independent research shop, we offer a highly collaborative environment where analytical rigor meets entrepreneurial thinking.

Coverage Areas:

• Pharmaceutical Supply Chain: Wholesalers, PBMs, Retail & Specialty Pharmacies, Digital Pharmacies & Hub Providers, Next Gen PBMs
• Digital Health: Healthcare IT, EHRs, Telemedicine, Digital Care Delivery, Digital Therapeutics

What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements:

• Intellectual curiosity about financial markets and healthcare systems
• Strong analytical thinking and academic rigor
• Enthusiasm for developing investment expertise
• Interest in applying new technologies to research processes

Financial & Analytical Foundation:

• Coursework or real-world experience in financial statement analysis, accounting, economics,  statistics, and potentially data science/analytics background
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, Data Science, or equally rigorous analytical field
• 0-3 years experience in equity research, consulting, healthcare, or technology (recent graduates with exceptional academic credentials and relevant internships encouraged)

Advantageous Skills:

• Healthcare system knowledge and policy awareness
• Advanced Excel, Python/R/SQL, data visualization tools
• AI/ML applications for research workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Build integrated financial models and analyze business dynamics
• Contribute to research reports and investment recommendations
• Monitor industry developments, M&A activity, and regulatory changes
• Synthesize complex healthcare data into actionable insights
